Omnitech Solutions, one of YOLO TV’s valued partners, recently completed a complex but amazing installation. They mounted a 158" YOLO TV on an articulating pole mount frame on a rooftop which is also a historic building.
This rooftop project, named The Cobbler in honor of the building’s rich history, delivers the ultimate outdoor entertainment experience.
Omnitech Solutions owners Jasen Shamlin and Zach Harmon shared the unique challenges that came with installing this cutting-edge technology on a structure built in the early 1900s.

"Due to the age and architectural constraints, we were unable to drill directly into the brick, facing additional hurdles such as varying structural footings and weight-bearing limitations" says Shamlin. The homeowner’s vision included a complete rooftop remodel with an outdoor kitchen, gaming space and a fully immersive entertainment system featuring vibrant lighting, premium sound, and of course the stunning YOLO TV. "We installed the best of the best on this rooftop," says Harmon.
"This is our client’s second YOLO TV, and he is in love! This client also has a 202" TV at his vast property that he hosts hunting events, and retreats throughout the year.
"Our experience with YOLO TV has been nothing short of phenomenal."
A custom articulating mount, designed by another local business was engineered specifically for this project.
In order to ensure stability while adhering to historic building codes, the frame was anchored through the rooftop patio and into the ceiling of the condo below—fortunately owned by the client.

This gorgeous giant indoor YOLO TV was installed at the Double R Apartments in Reno, Nevada – where luxury meets sophistication. The esteemed apartment community is renowned for its exceptional features and amenities, ensuring an unparalleled living experience, exquisitely designed with the highest quality finishes and fixtures, complemented by state-of-the-art SmartHome technology.
This careful design allowed for proper weight distribution and structural integrity while maintaining the historic aesthetic of the building.
The result? A jaw-dropping rooftop entertainment space. The installation was completed just in time for a major gathering, where guests enjoyed watching music videos and all commented on how unique and different the TV is.
"When people see the rooftop they don't know what it is" adds Shamlin. "People see it and ask, ‘Is that a nightclub? A restaurant?’ No, it’s just someone’s home!" Shamlin laughs.
